Bougainvillea enjoys an exceptional location on beautiful Union Island, the southernmost island of the Grenadines. It is perfectly placed in the heart of the islands Clifton Harbour. The views, in particular from the restaurant, are just fantastic - from this spot you can look out on all the activity going on in the harbour, and also out at the Southern Grenadines, including the fabulous Palm Island.

Union Island is within excellent proximity of some of the most beautiful gems in the Grenadines, including Mayreau, Carriacou, and the breathtaking Tobago Cays Marine Park.

Rooms & Apartments

The Bougainvillea Hotel has 4 apartments and 6 spacious rooms all of which are air conditioned, and within easy walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants along the harbour front. Each apartment is located on the upper level of the building and have been thoughtfully and comfortably decorated.

All rooms contain king beds and also have Cable TV, and a bathroom with a shower and also a dresser. Each room is unique. Continental breakfast is available for additional fee.

There are two types of room at the hotel. There are the standard rooms on the ground floor and then the apartment suites on the upper level which also have the great feature of a terrace. Whichever you choose, all of the rooms have a plenty of space, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Loved by Sailors

With 12 deepwater boat docks and a lovely new dinghy pool, Bougainvillea Hotel is a great center for sailing activity, the area has an enviable reputation of being a hub for sailors - it is so easy to see why so many use Union as a base from which to explore the Grenadines. The marina on the island has 15 berths on a dock that can accommodate boats with draughts up to 25ft. Shops are close by, along with an excellent vegetable market. The locals are welcoming and friendly, and there are festivals and events throughout the year.

Waterfront Restaurant, Boutique & Bakery

The restaurant, with It's own aquarium, looks out over the activity in the harbour and is perfectly designed to relax and enjoy all that the hotel and island has to offer. The Bougainvillea Hotel has It's own bakery producing lovely fresh bread and pastries and a boutique selling a range of gifts including souvenirs and swimwear.

Please note that the standard rooms are 120 USD per night, and the suites are 165 USD per night plus taxes / breakfast.
