Palm Island is a small, private island in the Southern Grenadines. Surrounded by exquisite clean coral sand and natural reefs.

This is the perfect getaway for people who need a relaxing break and a large dose of peace and tranquility. Ideal for a group or family. The property is single story and right on the breeze facing Beachfront.

Cool and comfortable bedrooms

The house has 2 spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and ceiling fans. (a third bedroom may occasionally be available for children -please enquire).

Enchanting beachfront living

The spacious patio is semi-covered and affords a spectacular view of Mayreau, the Tobago Cays and Canouan.

WIFI

There is no TV - this property helps you relax and unwind - there is full WIFI.

There is a well-equipped kitchen, an outdoor hot shower, barbeque, hammock and a comfortable living/dining room.

Union Island restaurants

Union Island boasts several good restaurants. Guests can take the Palm Island Resort boat; some of the restaurants offer transportation – it's just 10 minutes away.

Swimming & Snorkeling

Swimming is directly in front of the house on a pristine beach shaded by coconut palms. Snorkelling and Diving are all nearby - and you can be picked up from the island by the local dive boat.

Daily maid service except one day

A maid/laundress for 6 days a week is included in the price. Cooking is not included but may be arranged in advance, the cost of which will be up to the guests to pay additionally at the end of their stay.

Sailing Day Cruises easily arranged

There are daily excursions by catamaran or monohull to neighbouring islands for lunch and snorkelling – see our page Day Sails for details. Guests can be collected from Palm Island Jetty, a five-minute walk from the villa.

Palm Island Per-Provisioning Service

We can arrange for groceries to be pre-ordered and pre-delivered to your villa. Guests will be expected to pay for groceries upon arrival at the villa. There will be a standard charge of 85 EC for transport to the island + the cost of the groceries + 20% service charge.

Airport Pick Ups

Included in the rental for this charming beachfront villa is a Complementary airport meet & greet service and transfer to the dock. This service will also be provided on guests departure. A water taxi may be available for any additional trips guests may want to make, charged at a fee of around 5 USD pp.

Minimum Rental Period

Generally villas on Palm Island will require a 4 day minimum booking.

Bikes are available for guests at the Palm Island Resort but are not normally available for rental to external guests however they can be rented from a company on nearby Union Island for the duration of your stay. Please ask the team for details.

There are both a swimming pool & tennis courts at the Palm Island Resort, these may be available for villa guests use at a rate negotiable with the Resort Manager, please ask the team for details.

Shopping

Palm Island has only a souvenir shop. For groceries nearby Union Island has a good selection including supermarkets, bakeries, a gourmet store and an excellent local fruit & vegetable market.

We can help arrange pre-order and delivery of groceries from St. Vincent, Bequia, Union etc, and they can be packed away by your housekeeper prior to arrival.

Provisioning

The Gourmet Store on Union will offer free delivery for villa guests. A list of items can be sent in advance and the team can arrange delivery for guests arrival.

Meal Preparation

Some housekeepers are prepared to offer a meal preparation service for guests, at a charge of around 25 USD per day, please ask the team for details.

Dining

The Sunset Restaurant is available on Palm Island for villa guests. This is quite informal and not always open out of season so please check with the team for details. The Palm Island Resort does have the Royal Palm Restaurant and Sunset Grill which may be available for villa guests, please ask the team for details. As this is an all inclusive resort guests will be expected to provide credit card details as the staff are not used to handling cash.

Water

Guests should not drink from the water tank at each villa, mineral water is recommended for drinking.

Transport to Union

The return fare in a water taxi to Union Island is 100 USD for up to 6 guests.

Tipping

10% of the overall rental fee would be recommended as a tip which would be given to the Housekeeper at the end of guests stay.

* Palm Island is usually a crime free environment - it is possible to arrange for items to be stowed in a safe if you wish - please let the house team know once you have arrived on the island. They can make arrangements for you.
