This naturally inspired community was initiated by the American Ton Johnston in the mid 1960's. He loved sailing and discovered Moonhole, bought some land and started to design the whole concept of Gaudi Esque accommodations facing out to sea. His love of nature and sailing combined to produce these unique eco villas located in seclusion, powered by solar energy and offering peace, quiet and a totally unique aspect for guests to enjoy.
