Sights & Sounds consists of a 2 bedroom main house, and a 1 bedroom self contained guest studio.

The Main House . . A tranquil setting

Sights & Sounds is an exceptional Mustique style villa, located on a lush two-acre parcel in the quiet and uniquely private, Hope Estate.  The expansive ocean views from this hilltop sanctuary are some of the best on the Island. You'll see the nearby islands of Balliceaux, Battowia and Mustique as you look out across the sparkling Atlantic Ocean.  From This vantage point, it is not unheard of to witness a mother whale and her calf frolicking in the watery playground below.  If you close your eyes you will hear birds chirping and tree frogs singing along with the rhythmic pounding of waves as they crash into Hope Bay, thus the name,Sights & Sounds.

The architect of Sights & Sounds is Beyer Binder Belle of New York City. World renowned Architects of many landmark buildings in New York, London and Washington DC, as well as premier homes.

The Great Room is at the heart of the property

The heart of this 6000 square-foot property is the great room, which encompasses the Living and Dining areas.  This room literally "opens" up to the views through a series of five large tri-fold doors located on three sides of the room all leading to a generously-sized covered veranda -seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor living space.   The living area is cool and light, with a spectacular vaulted Brazilian Ipe wood ceiling and architecturally designed Ipe floors. The room is elegantly and comfortably furnished with two oversized white sofas, tables,lounge chairs and ottomans.   A perfect place to retire at the end of a busy day and enjoy the ocean breezes while playing cards or board game with the family. There is no TV at Sights & Sounds.

Kitchen and dining areas

Sights & Sounds has the ultimate entertaining and workspace for the aspiring chef.  This large well-appointed professional kitchen has high-end stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.  A walk-in pantry stores a variety of small appliances and festive dinnerware.  Your housekeeper Joy is available for meal preparations (excluding Sundays) for small additional costs which can be paid directly. A large center island is the perfect place for guests to gather with a glass of wine while dinner is being prepared. Beautiful locations for dining Whatever the mood or the weather,guests can choose from three separate dining areas within Sights &Sounds.  The indoor dining area features a large mahogany dining table(seats 10) with fantastic ocean views. Outdoors by the lighted pool there is a covered dining area or  if you'd prefer, you can choose to dine at a candlelit table under the stars.

Safe & Secure

There is a night watchman at the villa for guests security and there are safes available for guests use.

3 Spacious Bedrooms

Sights & Sounds offers 3 luxurious air-conditioned bedrooms  - all with ocean views. Each bedroom opens out onto a private veranda – all with sun loungers and seating - a great place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The three bedrooms feature private outdoor showers, surrounded by private tropical gardens and ocean views – a special spot to cool and refresh after a day at the beach.

Other high end amenities Include double vanities, roll-top desks, luxurious linens, iPod adapters, ceiling fans and comfortable wicker lounge chairs. The master bedroom is located upstairs. On the lower level, the family bedroom is separated by a screen, with the smaller section well suited for children, as it has a fun bunk bed and is decorated in bright Caribbean colours. There is also a pack n' play portable crib available if needed.

The Guest Studio . . .

Sights & Sounds Guest Studio has a lovely, Queen bedroom, along with a luxurious bathroom and a fantastic outdoor shower. There is also a kitchenette with 4 burner stove. Guests have use of a large garage with space for two cars, and of the main house's exquisite infinity pool, which has one of the best views on the island. The studio is finished to an excellent standard, with a lovely style and high end furnishings. The studio shares the main driveway and parking with the main house, and has it's own separate water tank. Combined with the main house, Sights & Sounds would make for amazing group accommodation, sleeping up to a maximum of 8 people in 3 beautiful bedrooms.

Stunning Infinity Pool

Natural Shell stone, saline pool decking surrounds a spectacular two-tier, cascading infinity pool rimmed with natural stone tropical planters. Furnished with Balinese sun loungers, market umbrellas and plantation chairs,this is the perfect retreat for soaking up the afternoon sun or enjoying a romantic evening on a double chase while sipping wine under the stars. Only steps away from the bar and kitchen, this is the ultimate gathering spot for dining and entertaining from sunup to sundown.

Perfect for children

Sights & Sounds has custom made and removable safety barriers to surround the pool and balcony areas. One room is a family room with a twins / or bunk bed configured with a screen for privacy.

Villa Steps

Please note that the property has several steep pathways with steps and these can require extra care is taken -especially after a tropical rain shower. Please do take care and anyone with limited mobility .
