The bay is beautiful and unspoilt offering an wonderful waterfront location. The ocean frontage provides cooling inshore breezes. Please note the bay is not always ideal for swimming due to ocassional Sargassum seaweed accumulation.

Close to Bars, Restaurants, Harbour & Dive Shops

This is a perfect location being quiet and rural whilst just a short drive away from town. The bustling Harbour Town of Port Elizabeth is a ten minute drive away, and the drive to Bequia's airport takes around 20 minutes. The beautiful West coast beaches just a short 10 minute drive away for excellent swimming and snorkelling.

Island History

Spring Estate was the location of a large plantation through the 18th & 19th centuries and still has remains of some of the original plantation buildings as well as an abundance of fruit trees and ancient palms.

Other things to note

Spring beach is occasionally exposed to sargassum influx which affects the whole Caribbean. This usually happens during the summer months, please contact us for further info.
