Located In a classic setting of historic interest

The 28 acre grounds were originally an old sugar mill plantation with a fascinating history dating back over 250 years. From this location guests are only a short drive from the beautiful Princess Margaret and Lower Bay beaches, and from the busy harbour town of Port Elizabeth.

Reservations for two rooms and above

Old Fort Plantation is the perfect choice for the larger group. Please note that for this property bookings must be for a minimum of two of these wonderful rooms. Also, if the whole property is not rented, please note that guests may share use of the property with other guests from other parties. The fantastic thing about the Old Fort is that it can be enjoyed with a lovely sense of privacy, even when the other rooms are occupied.

Eight wonderful bedrooms

The 8 bedrooms at Old Fort are all different, with plenty of character. There is the Master Suite - which includes 2 bedrooms with king size beds, a private shared sitting room, two private balconies, cable TV and a DVD player.

The 'Sun' Room is splendid room is located in the large tower, and boasts breathtaking 360 degree views.

The Honey Room and Planter's Room, both with air conditioning.

The Petit Nevis room - with air conditioning, outside area and balcony.

There is also the little Tower room, with an intimate seating area and private entrance!

2 Bed Villa, the Sugar House

This property is a luxurious spacious two-bedroom villa located just a few steps away from the Main Plantation.

Fabulous pool and jacuzzi

Old Fort has a wonderful pool with a beautiful waterfall, and the added luxury of a jacuzzi. The pool is a great size. With plenty of shaded seating, sun loungers and lots of space, this really is a great place to enjoy your Bequia vacation. the heart of the villa is the al fresco garden bar area, where you can easily relax by the poolside or in tropical garden hammocks with a cocktail, whilst looking out at the amazing views.

Catering services included

A highlight of any stay at Old Fort Estate is that a catering service is included for guests. This really is great, since it allows you to relax and unwind even further, meaning you can enjoythis Bequia villa vacation to the full. There are variety of dining areas,so you can enjoy meals inside, or outside in the cool breeze.
