Simply find your international flight to one of the hub airports - we recommend Barbados for the Grenadines - there are direct non stop flights to Barbados from the UK Europe and North America and good local flights to the islands.
We’re happy to check and hold the local flight availability for you so that you can go ahead and book your international flight, knowing the connection is ready for you.
On arrival at Barbados you’ll be met for priority service by a friendly Customer Service Agent who will assist you with check-in and escort you to the departure lounge ready for your local flight. Inter Island Travel
The smaller islands in the Caribbean are served by inter-island airlines and short domestic flights.
Same day arrival is usually possible - with most guests choosing to transfer via Barbados for the connecting flights with SVG Air, Liat or Mustique Airways - travelling to The Grenadines from the hub airports is easy with these regular services.
Boat transfers
To connect the smallest exquisite islands in the archipelago there are local ferries, water taxi’s, and we can even provide a beautiful sailing schooner transfer to some of the most exquisite islands.
Grenadine Air Alliance - SVG Air & Mustique Airways
Grenadine Air Alliance (SVG Air & Mustique Airways) offers a twice daily service between Barbados, St. Vincent, Bequia, Canouan and Union Island.
Flights to Bequia, Canouan & Union Island operate during the daytime (sunrise to sunset). To catch the afternoon flight allow 45 minutes to connect so choose an international arrival time by 15.30. SVG Air wait for your arrival but if your connection time is unusually tight your checked luggage may follow the next day.
We recommend that you pack essentials in your carry on case, just in case your luggage has to follow the next day.
LIAT Airline
LIAT is a larger airline, offering high-frequency scheduled services, serving 17 of the larger islands throughout the Caribbean.
LIAT have direct flights from Barbados to St Vincent throughout the day, which is a common way for visitors to then take further onward travel to reach the Grenadines. There is a ferry service from Kingstown St Vincent to Port Elizabeth Bequia, which takes one hour.
We recommended checking the availability of onward travel and inter-island transfers before confirming international flights.
Private Flight Charters
We have access to the largest selection of planes - from large aircraft to small seven seater planes for families and groups. Ideal for personalised itinerary.
Saint Vincent & the Grenadines Ferry Service
There is a regular, daily ferry service to Bequia, as well as a less regular service throughout the Grenadines, from Saint Vincent's Kingstown Ferry Terminal. Tickets are paid for on-board (approx. $25 Eastern Caribbean Dollars one way).
The ferries offer drinks and snacks on board and air conditioned seating inside, however, most passengers enjoy sitting outside to watch the beautiful ocean views and the approach to Bequia, looking out for pods of dolphins, whales and flying fish along the way... Port Elizabeth is a very pretty harbour and we recommend being up on deck as the ferry docks.
Ferry schedules can be subject to change and cancellation at short notice, so we recommend checking with the ferry companies.
